Polices helping to raise ethnic minority achievement
- Various policies, inside school, have helped raise achievement of ethnic minorities in schools, for example:
- Halal meals are made available in schools
- Some schools have uniform policies which don’t conflict with cultural obligations
- PE changing rooms are designed so as not to conflict with cultural sensitivities
- History, music and RE are taught within a global context rather than an ethnocentric one
