Poverty Line
- As poverty is measured by net household income, adjusted for size (bigger families need more money to reach a given standard of living than smaller ones) and after housing costs have been deducted there are also higher proportions of poor people in certain types of households:
- those with 3+ children (46%)
- those with youngest child aged 0-4 (41%) or aged 5-11 (35%)
- households with one adult (38%)
